Joinez-vous au choeur A&P pour le concert bénéfice annuel de la Maison du Parc, un des derniers centres d'hébergement montréalais pour les hommes et femmes souffrant du VIH/Sida. Cette année nous vous proposons une version inhabituelle du Messie de Handel. Notre interprétation ébranlera le concept de genre conventionnel en redistribuant les solos à des chanteurs de sexe opposé. Vous êtes-vous déjà demandé comme le très connu "Rejoice" serait si chanté par un ténor, ou encore "Every valley" par une voix de soprano? Une version unique et légèrement provoquant du Messie de Handel qui ne laissera personne indifférent.

Join the A&P Choir for the Annual Benefit Concert for the Maison du Parc, one of Montreal’s last hospices for men and women stricken with HIV/AIDS. This year we present an unconventional performance of Handel’s beloved masterwork, Messiah. Our performance challenges gender-role expectations by reassigning the solos to singers of the opposite sex! Ever wonder how the famous “Rejoice” would sound if performed by a tenor, or “Every Valley” performed by a soprano? A unique and slightly provocative version of Handel’s Messiah and support one of Montreal’s most important HIV/AIDS institutions.
